The Claim Truth is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. This policy explains what limited data we collect and why.

We do not collect:

• –Payment information — the site is free
• –Insurance policy details, claim details, or sensitive financial information

This site uses Vercel Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies, does not track users across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. It collects anonymous, aggregated data such as page views, referring URLs, and device type — used only to understand which content is useful and to improve the site.

If you submit a claim experience through our submission form, we collect only the content you provide: the insurer name, line of insurance, state, and your written account of the experience. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information with submissions.

Submissions are stored in our database and may be displayed on the site. Because submissions contain no identifying information, we cannot link a submission back to you or fulfill requests to delete a specific submission after the fact. Please do not include personal information in the text of your submission.

We reserve the right to moderate, edit for clarity, or remove submissions at our discretion.

If you contact us through our contact page, you may provide an email address or name. This information is used solely to respond to your message and is not added to any mailing list or shared with third parties.

This site does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Vercel Analytics operates without cookies. If we add functionality in the future that requires cookies (such as session management), this policy will be updated accordingly.

This site links to state insurance department websites and other external sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any external site.

Anonymous analytics data is retained by Vercel subject to their own retention policies. User submissions and contact messages are retained indefinitely unless we receive a documented legal request for deletion.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
